We are a design lab founded by a group of makers with background in design, engineering, and manufacturing. Our goal is to design simple, elegant, and functional products, and share them with you.
We deeply believe in designing products that we will use ourselves. We hope you will be a part of our journey.

Who are you and where are you located?
esc lab’s team consists of three tech & design enthusiasts. loop and Isshin are based out in the U.S., while Cubic currently resides in Hong Kong. All three members on the team have studied, lived, and worked in the U.S.
loop is a PM who’s in charge of product management, vision, go-to market, and community building.
Cubic is an industrial designer who’s in charge of our logistics, design, engineering, and manufacturing.
Isshin is an industrial designer who’s in charge of design, engineering, and creative vision.
What products will you be releasing?
Our first product is Series 00. Series 00 is a meticulously machined metal silhouette that will serve as the core design of all our artisans moving forward. However, Series 00 is only the beginning. We have lots more in the works, and we thank you for being part of our journey!

How do you check the authenticity of an esc lab product?
Each esc lab product will be individually and sequentially numbered to guarantee authenticity. No two products are the same.

What are those random numbers and letters on each series?
Every collection we produce and manufacture has a Series ID. A Series ID is used to both identify our products and used for authentication. Each esc lab product is sequentially numbered, meaning, every item out in the wild is unique. You can learn more about our motivation for the Series ID here.
Will I be able to buy esc lab products in my region?
Yes! In every Group Buy post, we will announce all regional vendor we will be partnering with. The easiest way to get updates is to join our Discord or join our Research Facility mailing list.
Do you do giveaways?
Yes we do, but not in the conventional sense.
Every few weeks, we run an Easter Egg hunt where community members get a chance to look for various clues on our website to find an Easter Egg (which is a form to submit your email). This started as a fun little thing from our first IC where we hid a special link on a page, asked our community to look for it, which has now become full-blown tradition for us. The hunt has progressively gotten harder and harder each time.
Those that find the Easter Egg enter a raffle to receive pre-production prototypes and other goodies. These prototypes are actual samples we use to perform quality control prior to a launch, so they are hyper limited, are custom PROTOTYPE engraved, and will never be made or sold again. You also get a special role in our Discord to brag.
Every Easter Egg hunt is announced in our Discord channel and Research Facility mailing list. Do you have what it takes to find the egg?

How to read the Series ID
Every esc lab product is assigned a Series ID at the engineering phase. The Series ID allows anyone to identify the product’s series, batch, material, intent, date, and more.
You will find the Series ID system on the specification page, authentication card, and engraved onto each individual product.
